WE WILL BE TURNING INTO A MULTI GAMING CLAN SOON

Who are we?

Deviant Wing is a clan for Armed Assault only. Some people might recognize most members from our old clan Joint-Operations. After making Joint-Operations from scratch we have decided to make a fresh start making a new bigger and better clan.

We are not one of these “so called” militaristic clans that form themselves based of various other real-life military groups. Our main and only goal in Armed Assault is to have FUN! Without any of the “yes sir, no sir” rubbish or training.

Almost most of our current members are veterans from Operation Flashpoint, giving us a slight advantage in Armed Assault. With newer p_layer_s that have not played Operation Flashpoint and are new to Armed Assault, our experienced members will do their upmost making sure they can adapt to Armed Assault with ease.

As team/friends we like to play every game mode which Armed Assault offers from COOP to CTF down to DM. Basically anything that tickles our fancy!

Deviant Wing does not use any sort of rank structure purely because we are not a militaristic clan. Deviant Wing is split between 4 wings, Eagle Wing, Tiger Wing, Wolf Wing and Cobra Wing. The reason for making these wings is so everything is kept nice and organized. Our clan missions and campaigns will be based on these groups giving the mission maker more options and ideas on how to make their missions. Almost each mission will have 4 specialist squads from which each wing can choose from. These will be Air, Sea, Land and Support. Each wing does not have a specific specialist squad assigned to them as it is based on a rotation system.

Location:

Deviant Wing is mainly based in the UK although we have a few European and international players. All players are welcome at Deviant Wing as long as you meet the relatively simple criterion, which is being able to speak enough English to understand what is going on

Server:

In order for Deviant Wing to get the most out of Armed Assault, we require a server capable of running very intense missions also the maximum amount of players. Regular players that have played on the Joint-Operations server will realize how good the server was and still is! With no lag even when most missions were maxed out to the limits. Deviant Wing has 4 Armed Assault servers, public, private, campaign and testing. Our server also hosts our dedicated Teamspeak server for voice communications and the Deviant Wing website.

Missions:

Deviant Wing has a few quality mission makers, using addons and scripts to make the missions that much better. Experienced mission makers also strive to help newer members develop the skills in the mission editor allowing them to release their own missions for the clan.

Campaigns:

Deviant Wing has its own campaign team. With some of our members military brains and mission editing skills from other members combined. The story lines and missions within the campaign are phenomenal ensuring we have the best campaigns around!

What can Deviant Wing offer me?

All Deviant Wing members are adults, with a sense of humour that is priceless! Although we like to take Armed Assault serious, it is only up to a certain extent. Our main objective is FUN. We offer a fun and fair environment to every member. Every member is equal to the next, in our eyes.

What is expected of me if I wish to join?

All we ask is that you have the ability to speak enough English to understand what is going on within the clan

You are also required to have a sense of humour, if not you won’t last long within the clan.

How do I join?

This is the easy part.

# All new recruits are subject to a 2 week trial period.

# All members MUST have a microphone for communications over Teamspeak.

# All members 18+ Must be able to contribute towards the server, under 18 have an option
