Post Looking for html module Posted: Wed Oct 10, 2007 5:56 pm

I'm looking for a simple Module that lets you put int HTML 'ONLY' without the fancy 'modules'.
What I basically want to do is make my own HTML page but embedded within the website/forum so when someone click on it from the navigation menu, it will open to the right rather than it's own seperate page.

I browsed at some here, but it seems to ask for Paypal info. I'm not sure if it's asking me that I have to pay for it or what.
Any help would be appreciated.

If you know the link to one, please share it. Embarrased

Thanks!

Hi
Not sure what you are looking for exactly, but i recently added a html module to our site it was called PNC_Module_HTML, you can see a working version of it on our site. Basically we remodelled it to display a readme/guide. All the pages are customizable with simple HTML:

Our PNC Module

I forget where i downloaded it from (come to think of it - might have been this site)

Hope this helps :)

Making new module with html is very easy.

Create index.php and copy paste the code below

Code:

<?php
if (!eregi("modules.php", $PHP_SELF)) {
die ("You can't access this file directly...");
}
$index = 0;   // 0 : do not show right blocks - 1:show right blocks
require_once("mainfile.php");
$module_name = basename(dirname(__FILE__));
include("header.php");
OpenTable();
?>
PUT YOUR HTML CODE HERE, WHATEVER COMES BETWEEN THE <html> AND </html>
TAGS OF YOUR HTML FILE
<?php
CloseTable();
include("footer.php");
?>

Remember that should go inside your new module eg: /modules/NEWMODULE/index.php
thats it:)
