hi, i download the script to integrate vwar and php nuke, i install php nuke 7.7 and vwar last version, i follow step by ste but in step 7 appear this error
MySQL said: Invalid default value for 'age_limit'
but i dont understand i have php5 and mysql 5 and install the files to mysql 5.0

We dont use vWar anymore. It's not safe, i get every day about 20 messages that someone tries to enter the vWar module on our site even now we haven't on our site anymore.

Yup its very unsecure, if used correctly... Im not a great fan of vWar the only thing i liked about it was the ability for clan members to sign up for wars ! so you can see whos attending !

Is there a decent alternative? All I am interested in is tracking match results and the only other modules I could find here are for setting up your own league...

Hi

Need some info, I have a theme we purchased from here, and it has a Match button, which calls for Vwar module.
In my research I found its not secure, a mysql exploit from what I read. Is this true ? or do the latest Vwars from downloads section of this sight secure ? running on platinum 7.b.4 v2 is there an alternative plug in that will work with this ?

I saw a link one of the admins posted, here, but don't know if that will work for my situation.

Ive ran Vwar for ages and never had it hacked

here are some tips for keeping your vwar safe.

IMPORTANT - DO NOT UPLOAD THE CONVERT FOLDER ! (this folder is not needed for vwar to run, and contains extremely unsafe code, allowing some malicious scum bag the delete your vwar match tables)

Inside vwar/extra make a .htaccess file and add this code.

Code:
<filesmatch "\.php$">
deny from all
allow from your-host-ip
</filesmatch>

replace your-host-ip with the IP of your host.

this simple .htaccess Rule can be applied to most of the vwar folders.

finial tip always keep regular backups just in case.
