Hi All

I downloaded shoutox v8.5 from club downloads i have edited all files and uploaded as stated, sql installed fine and i can shout but it does not display, it also does display in the admin area just not in the block??

any ideas??

if your using raven nuke, there a small adjustment u need to do with the code in one of the files.

I cant remember what it is off the top of my head, ill have a peep over at ravens and try and dig it out for u.

Open up shoutbox.js and find this line:

Change this to: (again, you don't need the ~ characters)

thanks noto did all that but it still doesn't work also my whole site has gone wrong now?? seems it has told all the once white writing to go black?? i dont know how but could you give me a hand to get it right??

lol, yeah noto of course, i have been coding for a couple of years just never messed about with phpnuke, i fixed the problem with the site showing black writing now as the readme tells you to enter a table in style .css this actually messed things up so ive re-uploaded the original, the shout box does save and store the shout it just doesn't show it, i thought it was preferences or something silly like text as black but it isnt, hope you can work out what is going wrong, if not i will give you temp admin and i'll show you what i mean it all works apart from showing in the block, so it leads me to think that its either still the shoutbox.js or it is a simple line of code needed in the block itself

lmao the funniest thing just happened, i just moved it down a bit and its magically started working??? not sure what happenend but hey, problem solved..............i hope! thanks for tryin though Noto, love the theme btw

also was gonna ask you if you have the .psd for your header?? just would like to add an assault guy instead of 2 engineers hehe Rolling Eyes
