Post Forum signatures and firefox Posted: Tue Aug 07, 2007 9:56 pm

Guys, I have just started using Firefox about 3 days ago and well... It seems that I have a slight problem when viewing posts in our forums. The signatures shown in every post seem to have a huge space UNDER the signatures. I have a screenshot of what Im talking about. This only appers using Firefox, when Im using IE7 everything appears fine and I don't see that huge space under the signatures.

Look here:
http://www.starz-clan.com/firefox-problem.gif

Help on this would be greatly appreciated!! I posted my problem at 3 sites, so Im hoping to see who can fix this for me 1st, lol.

Here is the viewtopic_body.tpl I had to zip it and put it as an attachment, because I tried to add the code from the viewtopic_body.tpl and I was sent to a black page of death, lol. I hope I'm in no trouble. Sad

Thanks for helping

I thought i was right, it is a common problem and as of yet i dont think there is a fix for this problem.

You can read this mod, that was made for your specific issue Here

I didnt read through the whole mod thread i only read the first page and you can clearly see it doesnt work in FF... you could read it all though and see if some bright spark found a solution ! Embarrased

Actually there is a fix for it, they are saying that the latest release of it, which is v1.2.1 works for their version of phpbb, Like I said, that version is for phpbb 2.0.22. BUT I have the phpnuke version of forums phpbb 2.0.22. On the last page this guy directs us to the most recent version of the Mod. Which is HERE, Bottom aligned signature 1.2.1 [2.0.22/EM]Thankfully, the Mod install is in english, lol.

Only problem, I'm not skilled enough with how to port it over to our phpnuke phpbb forums. lol. Maybe I will ask over at futurenuke and see what they can do. Thanks so much for your help guys. It's appreciated, believe that. Wink
