Post CPMail Posted: Sun Jul 01, 2007 9:52 pm

I've installed the CPMail version 2.0S. I didn't like the fact that it directed the users away from my site, so I made a few modifications to the code.

In index.php:
line was (brackets removed in order to post):
Code:
form action='modules/CPMail/cplogin.php' method='post'

I changed it to (brackets removed in order to post):
Code:
form action='modules/CPMail/cplogin.php' target='_blank' method='post'

In cplogin.php, after:
Code:
 $port = $_POST['port'];

I added:
Code:
 $domain = $_POST['domain'];

So, now a new window is opened for CPMail and users still stay on my site when done.
I only have experienced one problem since installing this. After a successful CPMail login, the pages on the site start to show php object code in some of the modules and blocks. It only happpens after a successful login.

After I click submit, then go back to the window where my site is and select any menu option, I see variables instead of the text for some of my blocks. For example, on my Sommaire block, I see "_BWEL, dirtyrat" instead of just "dirtyrat" and "_BPM" where it should say "Private Messages."

This doesn't happen to every block, just some of them. Where I have a Survey posted, I now see only "_BLOCKPROBLEM2" instead of the survey.

If I close my browser window and return to the site, I have no problems. Anyone have any ideas what's happening?

Shop Purchases:
Clan Roster 2.0 · Multi Gaming (Warrior) Evo Theme · COD6 ModernWarfare 2 Teaser Splash Screen · Left for Dead Evo Extreme Version

Hmm... That makes no sense.

So after a successful login CPMail is changing something that blocks use. Hmmm... I honestly don't even have a bad guess at what that is. If you have any luck figuring it out please let me know.

_BPM

Of course is a language define. In theory anytime you define something you can not redefine it. I started to say something CPMail is overwriting your language, but I don't think thats possible.. So I don't think its that. Hmm... Does your site use English?

CPMainl doesn't do any language defines. My site uses English. I can't figure out why this happens. If I just hit 'Submit' with blank username and password, I don't have any problems (no new window spawns and I don't get into CPMail). If I do supply the proper info and a new window spawns, that's when I start having the problems.
