Out of all the nukes out there, what is your personal favorite?

PHPNuke, Platinum, Evolution, etc. etc.

I like Plats. features, but I have recently discovered Evo and I like its speed

For me, you simply can't beat Nuke-Evolution. I would admit that Raven is second place.

Err lets see....

I started of as a platinum freak many years ago (3), then discovered PNC (back then it was a distro of platinum,and i was heavily involved in clans)

Then i switched to Ravens Distro after trying all of them out

I cant say ive really tried the newer version of Evo but people say its good.... but im extremely happy with Ravens Nuke Version

For you Raven Nukers, what do you like about it compared to other flavors of Nuke I havent tried it yet. About the only one I havent tried. Looking into it, doesnt seem to have many mods, and addons compared to phpnuke, plat ot others. Maybe Im looking in the wrong places. Maybe it uses other nuke mods?

Any direction would be appreciated.

Well the great thing i like about Ravens Distro are as follows

1) Dam easy to install and setup
2) Comes as a clean platform (no addons or mods added at all)
3) extreamliy secure and patched
4) XHTML compliant
5) over 10,000 bugs fixed from the standard nuke version

My most favourite one for me is option number 2, yes its not got any added modules or blocks, but thats why i like it because its a clean platform to add what YOU want not what people think you want, if you want loads of added modules and hacks then you should probably not try it as it doesn't have any (except HTML Newsletter by Montego)

I think now a days its what you need it to do there are plenty to choose from, its just what u decide is best for you.

At the moment for clans i will only be recommending Ravens Distro for the above reasons if some thing comes along that is better then i will recommend that but for now its Ravens !

well must admit i cannot coment on which options are best as never tried em. only tried the basic nuke packages. wanted to try some others but was worried about bugs etc. anyone got any links for me as to where i can download a secure package for the platinum, evo',ravens, etc? like to give em a try.

Dam thats definatly one package i wiuld stay very clear from, that being the very latest versions of nuke

If you want to try some diffrent versions of nuke, first i would set up a local host on my computer so you dont have to upload to the www and wait hours

make a local host for XP = http://www.clan-themes.co.uk/tutorials-view-86-setting-up-your-own-local-server.html

I started out a few years ago with the basic Nuke, then discovered RavenNuke, and thats what i use now.

For me its very simple, i dont see how the distro's look, but how their security is.

And i believe the latest RavenNuke is the most secure phpnuke version out today.

How it works and looks, u have to arrange yourselfs, add/extract some stuff, and u have a good running site.
