hey guys, just purchased a quakewars theme and it's my first phpnuke site. i've messed with alot of invisionbb and phpbb forums, but i'm not sure how to install a forum on phpnuke.

does anyone have some instructions or a link on how i can install the forum on the site?

phpbb forum come pre installed in NUKE m8 if u have installed Nuke then u have installed the forum.

The forum Module is disabled by default.

Go to your admin area of phpnuke (yoursite.admin.php (default) find and click Modules then look for the module called Forum and activate it.

Is this a standalone forum u have ported into your nuke or is this a fresh default install of nuke ?

Found this may help u.

Code:

Open constants.php
find : define('SESSIONS_TABLE', $table_prefix.'sessions');
after add : define('SESSIONS_KEYS_TABLE', $table_prefix.'sessions_keys');

although this may fix your problem u really shouldn't have this issue with a fresh install on nuke.

it was a fresh install. that fixed it but i've got problems with all of these buttons literally sending me to http://mysite.com not my site, but the actual mysite.com

anyone know what's up with that?

noto, that worked but i had to add in a table as well, i found the answer on ravenscripts

i'm just too impatient, the sad part is i have a degree in computer network systems and some certs... i may be able to setup a frame relay network or a citrix enviroment, but i sure as hell can't do anything with php websites LMAO
