I downloaded and tryed 2.7.5 and still getting lame errors

same errors most on net are getting with out solutions
any one here been sucessfull ??

I think I remember seeing this mod b4. If I am correct it is media organization mod. Allows you to share or stream mp3 etc much like a radio or music sharing site or something like that. I t looked really cool but not really the type of module that would interest me but if you had a site that was centered around music or media in general it would definately be a top module to be looking at. As for fixing it. I have no clue and no time to disect something like that.

However one small suggestion based upon your error displayed is I would try setting this up on a Web hosted site rather than locally cause alot of times when using functions like fsockopen locally causes errors. Due to loopback problems with sockets. Since you are testing locally your problem could be related to something like that so set up a test site that you are opening external connections to.

I agree with duck. I've tested many nuke modules locally with problems only to find they worked fine once tested on my host.

mod was from here ... with newer version

I was just after something so people can stream their fav video clips ect ... instead of utubing all the time

If its video streaming ur after you might wanna look into this module "Video Stream". Currently version 5.0 is being completed. I'm waiting for it! :)

Well if I understand you corrctly you are now connecting from one machine to another on a local network. What address are you using to connect? A local or external? I would try both. But also make sure neccessary ports are open on your router. Barring those issueus resolving it other things to try are search if your script includes the stream_set_timeout() command and if so adjust the number refered to there higher.

BTW what version of PHP are you uising?

I got this to work that is the jukebox, mainly because sometimes I can get stubborn as hell.

Note that you can listen to music without the jukebox.

There are two ways of getting rid of this anoying error.

1. Remove your Jinzora and install it again and this time just select the mediastream.

2. I my case I'm running this on Debian, I think that it should be the same on Ubuntu although I have never used Ubuntu but it is build on Debian. What I did was:

apt-get install avahi-daemon ( this is required by mpd )
apt-get install mpd ( this is required to run the jukebox, mpd stands for media player daemon )

In your /etc/mpd.conf unmark the port variable ( do not know if this really matters )
In your ..//modules/jinzora2/jukebox/settings.php make sure that the variable $jbArr[0]['server'] = is set to 'localhost' not http://www.yourdomain.com, at least it did not work for me although I forwarded the port.

That’s it ladies and gents.

Hope that this will help someone out there.
