Update lads...

The server i have does not allow the use of persistent links so all i had to do (upon instruction from the Hosts) was remove the 'p' from the code in the Donations Config.php.

So this:

$ipnppd = mysql_pconnect($hostname_ipnppd, $username_ipnppd, $password_ipnppd);

Becomes this:

$ipnppd = mysql_connect($hostname_ipnppd, $username_ipnppd, $password_ipnppd);

Notice the 'p' is removed from the 'mysql_pconnect' bit of the dontations config.php.

Might be worth noting this in the download too if this problem occurs in future!

Ok i take that back...

I think this module requires persistent links to work as there are also Pconnect refs in the ipnppd.php file.

I would love to get this working somehow.

Upon following the instructions that come with the install it requests you to click on the config button when in Nuke Treasury and then test the IPN link for PayPal - the install fill presumes the link will return an ok response.

Well it does not - i think this may have something to do with the 'p' i removed from the dontations config...?

This is what it returns upon testing the link:

The above response is produced even though i have removed the 'p' from the 'pconnect' part of the ipnppd.php file.

Now as you can see this does not look right but then i do not know what to expect?

Also before it returned 3 errors but i changed the filepath to config.php from ../config.php to the absolute filepath (http://mysiteurl/modules/donations/config.php) and it returns the above result.

I still think this is not working right at all.

Also when i want to EDIT or TRASH one of the default amounts from the main treasury menu it justs returns a blank screen - it also does this when i want to add a new amount.

On a positive note from the homepage (when the block is set up for admin view only) the links work and go thru to the paypal account i have setup but i have not tested payments as it says i am not allowed to send a payment to myself.

For now i have set up a payment button for my paypal account and used the email link the generators produces - i have put a link on a news block on the homepage - i will need to make this more graphical if i cannot get the Donation block to work.

As you know my server does not support persistent links so am i stuck?

Can anyone help?
