I was tempted to purchase the version 8 of PHPNuke.

Was just wondering if anyone has done so and installed it over a lover version - i cannot find any upgrade documents so i presume it would be a complete install?

I have also noticed the folder structuring is different to the current version i have so i presume a few glitches would happen - i am just curious if it is worth all the hassle and if anyone has successfully installed the new version over the old version?

I welcome any replies!

7.6 is the most secure version nuke ever released. Raven's newest distro is 7.6 based with over 10,000 other fixes. In my honest opinion any other nuke version is just a hack waiting to happen.

I have installed ever version of nuke from 6.9 to 8.0 for testing purposes. In 8.0 the directory structure changes, but not much of the database does. So an upgrade is not far to hard, but I have honestly never tried it.

What is good about Raven Nuke?

I am on V7 but not 100% sure which version.

Is it easy to downgrade if that is the case or even upgrade to RavenNuke?

I think mine is 7.9.

Do i have to start over?
