Does anyone know of a Private Message mod or admin mod that will allow me to limit the PM space for certain users?

I'd like to offer more PM space for premium members and a little less for regular users.

If anyone has any info on this any help would be appreciated.

I've searched around for a mod that will do this but haven't found one yet.

The best way would be to make "Groups"

for example all your clan members you could place into a "Group"

then when you goto your forums you can select that "Group" to have more space..

Groups are extremely useful as you can restrict access to all of your site as well...

You could have 2 downloads modules with one just for that "Group" of people

Ill have to write a tutorial one day to explain it better, a lot of people don't know this feature exists

I agree Ped groups are excellent for restricting access to certain parts of the site like downloads or a part of the site you only want the most dedicated and most active members to visit. Also the points system in Nuke is good for this too, as it then gives the less active users an incentive to get active.

This is someting I think all webmasters should incorporate into thier site IMHO

I'm still not sure how to control PM's through groups. I've looked and can't find anywhere to limit PM box size by group.

For anyone interested, I did find a mod that was made for phpbb that gave admins and moderators increased PM box space.

The original one I found here:

The code for that mod is here:

I took their mod and with a little work got it to work on nuke. I took their script a step further and have also made this give my "Premium Members" increased PM box space. I also made some adjustments to the install file to make it easier for other nuke users to install.
