Post How to make header/logo static? Posted: Sun Jan 13, 2008 9:23 pm

The site should be back up now, well it was a minute ago.

So how do I delete the logo and the stripy background in order for the html to take its place? Is there a line of code I have to delete in a certain file?

I know I sound completely thick, but hey, im a woman LOL!

Shop Purchases:
Battlefield 2 Theme (Aviator V2) · Battlefield 2142 (Aviator v2) · Arnhem Multi Gaming Theme · Call of Duty 4 Ultimate Theme · Multi Gaming (Warrior) Theme · Topsites Manager V1 PhpNuke Module · Clan Roster v1.7 Php Nuke Module · Frontlines Fuel Of War Theme · Anzio Multi Gaming Theme · Left for Dead L4D PhpNuke Evo Theme · Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Theme · Clan Roster 2.0 · Call of Duty Black Ops Xtreme Theme

This is where ped comes in usefull :) i dont want to tell you to delete the wrong thing. Basically tho you will need to delete the line where it holds the banner image and the background but you want to keep everything below that line, but i dont have a clue where to find them :0 at a guess it may be in the header.php

I have attatched what i have done already. Just extract files onto destop then open the html you may ge an active x warning but ignore that :) i will find out how to get rid of it but i think its down to the persons browser settings, also because you still have the other player installed it will play both sets of music so just pause the 1 inside the frames and play the other and browse :) tell me if this is what youre after and we can tweak it to your liking.

Look above download and enjoy ;) to get it working now all you have to do is upload it to you root folder go into your cpanelx and cklick redirects and you want to change it from puremadonna.com to puremadonna.com/Madonna.html it will then redirect to that whenever people type in puremadonna.com

Thats brilliant!

I take it with frames, the inner scroll bars are necessary??

It comes up with 2 logos though, have I done something wrong?

Thanks so much again for doing this Embarrased

Yes the inner bar will be neccisary however i might be able to get rid of outer 1 im not sure. The reason you have 2 banners is like what we discussed before, untill you can find out the code on how to remove the header from nuke site then theres nothing more we can do atm. You can deffinatly see it working tho and if you pause the player on the iframe player then it just leaves the html player playing all the time and you can browse site with it not refreshing. It was quite easy tbh took me about 5 mins ;)
It also depends on what resolution ure using, as i run a much higher res ie 1600x1200 i would only see the one bar, the vertical one, but lower resolutions will probably put one at bottom aswell. You can always say site best veiwed @ id say min 1200x1024 or even better norrow the width of your site to for example 800 wide, but not sure if that can be done easily.

No there is no other way infact ive never tried this before, my only concern doing this is what are the effects of SEO (search engine optimization) will the bots still trawl your site, or are they just going to see your header ... not sure thats a Floppy question

You will have to open the iframe tag in the theme header, and close the iframe in the footer file, infact that wont work either .. you will have 2 headers.

Ok you will have to edit the main PHP-Nuke code, header and footer in the main site me thinks..

Please please make backups as i think this could go the wrong way Confused
