The block a little more advanced than a normal block but the idea was to be able to do everything from the admin block. I mean,  it is an admin block so it should be used to do admin functions as you will see it does.

A few key features in this admin block are the ability to fully control it from the admin panel. You can control the text color on the block and buttons, it does use jQuery for the menus and to get around the major problem that TheMortal pointed out where you cannot get back to the site if you use the forum management links because you cannot get the left side menu, so we used a lyteframe so you can be anywhere on the site, edit the forums from the admin block and refresh the page and its done.

Also to chose the color for the text and the button names I added a color picker to the admin panel. This has been tested in firefox 3.5 and IE8. It has been tested in Sarari but the jQuery and safari don't like each other much so my advice is don't use Safari if your using this block. As I said, it has been tested in IE8 and does work as it should. I did notice that its not as fast in IE8 or as smooth as if it is in Firefox.

This Block allows your visitors to add your site to their Favourites and set your site as their Homepage.

A simple admin feature or mod that hides the annoying admin block to the left of your screen... when you need to go to an admin feature say "blocks" simple move your mouse over to the left hand edge of your screen and it will pop out.
