phpnuke-downloads.com seems to be getting more and more daft these days, we have released 8 free themes over the last 18 months the first being one for the Ravens Nuke project you can preview that theme here CT RN Theme (download for free) and the latest being the same theme but in Grey Scale called CT RN Multi Gaming (download for free)

As soon as I released the Multi Gaming version just last week, phpnuke-downloads.com who also owns phpnuke-theme.com has taken the Multi Gaming theme and changed the images and the colour and re-released them to the community. That didn't really bother me to be honest, I was pleased that he thought our theme so good to take and use as a template for the new releases...

What annoyed me was the fact that he removed all of our copyright and replaced it with his !! if you didn't know that is against the GPL, the GPL states you must leave all original copyright links and names in tact, but just lately he has started taking our files, removing the copyright and re releasing the files...under his name and links in a bit to get paying customers to pay for his files (well other peoples files)

So I thought what should I do, there is no point submitting a DMCA notice over some free themes, he has in the past claimed counter copyright for my works anyway so that seems the wrong track to go down..

I decided to release my own versions of his take on the CT RN theme and restore the original authors copyright, that being ME, If I made them better (which wasn't hard)  people wouldn't want to use his versions.. So this article is letting you know I have released 6 new themes for free to the PHP Nuke community.

Your probably saying they look the same... I wasn't really happy releasing these as "My" creations to be honest, he has chosen some lousy color combinations and shows very week design skills. I spent over an hour on each theme cleaning it up as best as I could to make all the images and color schemes contrast well.

I think I reached my main objective, that being to release my stolen theme better than what he created, and for all 6 as well.

I also noticed in his pack he was giving away our Player of The Month Module and Block (download for free) he also edited the copyright links on that too...

He also included Floppys Game Trailers Block (download for free) he edited the copyright on that too and claimed it as his (sad but very true)

What's sad about it is he cant hide his tracks very well...
