PhpNuke · Phpnuke Downloads Project

Posted on Saturday, September 12, 2009 @ 17:33 by admin

Clan Themes is in the middle of launching the Phpnuke Downloads project.  It is something we are extremely excited about and the site has bonuses for everyone involved in all forks of phpnuke.

This project was founded on the principles of contributing to both phpnuke users and developers. For the users, we thought it would be nice if one site could try to catalog every download available for the Phpnuke CMS and it’s forks.  For the developers, we wanted to try to support them by only providing information about where their project’s downloads can be found.  It is our goal to catalog as much nuke related content as possible and keep it up to date.

It is going to take us a long time to meet my standards, but I believe the project has promise for everyone.  We also just recently publish the Google Ajax Search Block you can check out.  You can download it here on Clan Themes.

Over the next year, our main goal for that site is to make as much phpnuke content available in one place.

yeah great idea and a nice replacement for phpnuke-downloads.com, tired of downloading broken code from them, alot of stuff looks like its broken on purpose, after looking over the code the mistakes are way to ovoious for a coder to make, enless of course they do it on purpose so they can charge for support, just my opinion but thats what me thinks.

Very well put sir. I just know I can do a better job for the community than he has. It will be another 6 months before I really start to promote this site though. I want to get some more content on it and work out some of the bugs.

Thanks for your comment.

Just a small update, this project with 0% promotion is going great. I want a strong base and that is going well. I am content about continuing this project as progressive. In 6 months we will know where we stand. The php nuke community deserves better and we can deliver that.
