Software · Clean Your PC Registry, Easy!

Posted on Thursday, August 06, 2009 @ 21:51 by admin

Today was not my first time to use Registry Easy. I have been relying on it to keep my PC in top working order for awhile now.  I would not sit here and suggest you try a product I had not tried myself.  I am not going to call it my  savior or anything, but it makes weekly maintenance a breeze.  It has some very useful features such as the standard registry cleaner, evidence cleaner, junk cleaner, block active-x, system optimizer, and unistall manager.

Besides, you don't have to buy it, just try it.  You might be surprised what you find.  I will include some screen shots of Registry Easy in action on my PC right now.  I have 4 PC's in my house and 3 of them have this program on it.  These shots will be from my main PC with vista-64.

Registry Easy uses a high-performance detection algorithm that will quickly identify missing and invalid references in your Windows registry. With a few easy steps Registry Easy will scan your entire Windows registry for any invalid or obsolete entries and provide a list of the registry errors found. After that you can choose to clean list items with selection or automatically repair them all.For your convenience and protection, Registry Easy also provides a backup mechanism for any repaired files so that you can easily recover any changes if required.

Here are some of those screen shots I promised.

I love it, but make up your own mind on what suits you best. You can try Registry Easy for free here.  If you have suggestions for software we should review or other registry products you like, let us know.

I think my favorite feature for me is the junk file cleaner. I leave those .bak files laying all over the place as you can see in screen shot 6.

I cant remember the numbers for my first scan, I think it was in the 1000s. I would be interested to know what others starting numbers were.

You of all people should know I wouldnt tell it did if it was crap. I have used a few other registry programs that didnt impress me, but I like this one. Just like anything else it is all about what works for your situation.

/Shrug nothing better than a format, but they can become time consuming depending on the amount of data you have. Registry cleaners help correct minor errors the cause the operating system to run slower than normal. Tons of other factors can cause this problem also.

A Registry cleaner isnt gonna solve all your problems.

Odd, if it continues to happen report it to the developer. They fixed an issue for me in an earlier version to do with ultraedit.

I plan to review some software from time to time just for kicks. Try to share some of the things that have made me more successful.
