PhpNuke · Two New Cool Mods for Phpnuke News

Posted on Saturday, June 06, 2009 @ 19:15 by floppy

I like to make my life easier especially when it comes to maintaining my website in any aspect and lately I been on this "I should share more" spree.  So below are my two latest additions.

The first is a very small mod to underline and bold any link posted in a news article.  It comes in handy so you don't have to modify your news when writing or approving news submissions.

Underline and Bold Links Mod for Phpnuke News Module

The second adds nofollow (click nofollow to find out what it does) to any link posted in a news article that does not belong to your specefied domain.  It is useful for some and others could care less.  It also opens any external link in a new window, so people don't get lead away from your site.

Open External Links in New Window and Add Nofollow Mod for Phpnuke News Module

Edit: I also added a tutorial so you can add nofollow to external links in forum post.  Links is below.

Nofollow for External Links posted in the Forums

Edit: Might as well add the other to the forums too.

Underline and Bold Forum Post Links

Enjoy!!  I know I am going to.
