PhpNuke · Prune User Post for Phpnuke BB2Nuke

Posted on Monday, June 01, 2009 @ 21:24 by floppy

After a new member "UCStephen" went on a one line posting spree today, I decided we needed a better defense for removing a mass of spam post.  So I continued my long affair with Google once again (Sorry Yahoo :P ).  Anyway, I soon found a mod that did just what I wanted and I took a few minutes to convert it so it would work with BB2Nuke (Phpbb ported to work with the Phpnuke System).  It worked a charm for my purpose.  I removed 37'ish 1 line post in a minute or less.   I thought it was very useful and it has some really advanced options I have had no need to try yet.

I have added this mod to the Club if you think it would be useful for you, but please use at your own risk.  I have not had time (or the need) to try every aspect of this mod.  It has some really advanced features that I just don't need at this moment.

Fantastic find Mack, I agree mods for spammers is the way forward ;-)

Im sure it will be used a few times here at CT, shame the option to BAN them is not at the bottom of the form as well !!

Well the only issue with that is I would want to integrate it with Sentinel and not everyone uses it. So maybe something for us, but not public release.

Just means I did not test every feature of the mod to ensure capability.
