Now this looks good I take if I add this script to my website that it gives free points? If so how many and how often, excuse me if I sound noobish here :/

It removes point cost from your downloads. So you earn more points to use for other places like the club.

No it doesnt work. I put the code in my footer and still had to get points for the bbcode download. I really dont think it is a good idea to FOrCE people to make comments etc in order to get a download for their site. :(

fendergc you have to enter the site in which your link is on. You have a splash screen so your link is actually on http://www.fendergc.altervista.org/index.php and not http://www.fendergc.altervista.org

Odds are your didn't set your website in your profile or you didn't link to the direct page

Think the points thing is absurd.

How many visitors do you think leave your website because of this ..

You may boost your site a bit but I would say the majority of users are going to leave.

It's a bit selfish as gaming communities have always had free downloads with no restrictions to help each other out.

If you have to force people to write comments, articles ect ect .. Then your site really isn't what it should be.

Trust me people will appreciate and recip more with out the requirements.

Plus your content will be cleaner and not just stuff thrown up there to get points.

It is fairly simple. You place the code on your site somewhere and then edit your website address in your forum profile.

I think the point requirement isn't very helpful here. It just clutters up your database with worthless comments people are leaving just to gain points.

i agree with the pointsystem for not paying customers, they want some nice stuff they have to do summin for it, a other story imo is when f.e me, i payed to be member for the club but yet im still attached to the points.. and that not really fair imo....

If you are a paying member of the club it should not deduct points. You should be building them at 2x the speed of those who aren't.

well it doesnt floppy, so far every download i made deduct points and im not building twice the speed, now i dont know what the normal speed is xd, but it certainly all deducts points from me.

O I just noticed you haven't entered your website in your forum profile.

You have to do two thing for this to work.

1. Place the code in the above article on your website somewhere
2. Enter your website (or the page with the link) in your forum profile.
