You are charging for this ... just plain stupid. Man people try and make a buck anyway they can.

ragu78, I don't charge for this module.... the site asks you for a subscription fee to access the Club and this is to cover the advertising costs of this site.

Yes, u are charging for it, plain and simple. If you have to pay to download it then yes you are charging for it. Dont lie and say you arent charging for it and then try and sugar coat it, you cant download it unless you pay money, that would be charging for it. If you want to charge for a whole hand writen theme or something to that effect, that is totally understandable, but to try and charge money for something as simple as this is just plain greedy, sry just my opinion.

You are obviously a coder and know how to code this module.

This module took me 3 previous attempts to get it right and then 3 weeks of coding to get it to v3.5. I don't call that 'simple'

Clan Themes needs to grow, and by this we mean advertisement on the web so we can gain more hits and members to build the community site.We have decided to make a Club Members downloads section to make some revenue to pay for advertisement on the web which if you didn’t know can be very expensive. To that end any money that is raised through this module will go straight back into Clan Themes and not our pockets.

The money we get from the scripts the team make goes to advertisement on the web... it isnt dam cheap for example 12 months advertisement on http://ravenphpscripts.com/ is $450.00 yes that's right $450.00 and that's just 1 site !!
As Scorpion stated it took him 3 weeks to code that together so he has every dam right to charge for it, if you cant appreciate good work , make one your self... and give it away for free.

As i said in another thread why do kids presume everything is free in this world and it should be given to them on a plate as of a right !! Grow up and make on your self m8 that's the easy solution to your opinion...

I have and it only took about a hour of searching the aaotracker forums and about 4 hours to put it together, I also dont charge for it and who ever sees it and asked where to download it from then I send it to them free of charge. See the fact of the matter is, if your work is good and your site is filled with helpful positive members who arent blood sucking leeches, then you dont need to charge people. They would gladly donate money to your cause, instead of trying to force them or charge them for a noob script like this.

And why the hell should scorpion or anyone on clan themes code anything for free ? even if it takes me 1 hour ill be dammed if i give it away for free, i could have spent that how playing with my kids but no i made it for our website...

Ragu, why are you so negative towards this site and the oldest version of my module that has been superseeded?

Ok after all I do have to agree this is a great job on a module, good job scorp ... and I have to say I like how you incorporated a database for it, instead of just pulling xml.

i just wish i could have it with out paying as i dont really have the money to do so right now with paying for for servers with honor....but that looks like a very good job man and i would think it WAS very hard....and as for the other guy if he says its so easy then why dont you stop crying about haveing to pay and just make it yourself if its so easy....HOOAH!!!!!!!
