This latest upgrade was put out because of request found not only on my site and on CT, but also request that was asked over at the Evo site and was not addressed. There will be an update, but not for a while. I am slowly going to improve on this and I may put a new version out with in the next year.

You may wounder why we went from version 1.0b4 to version 1.2. Well this is a very simple reason. Last year, Extreme Evo released a Downloads version 1.1 which was encoded, and at that time I was fixing to release my version of 1.1. because of them having version 1.1 already out, I ended up going with version 1.0b2 where b stood for Beta. Now that I feel its out of beta and far better then anything else out there, we decided to put it as version 1.2.

The following is a list of some of the fixes and upgrades I have done for version 1.2

• [FIX] Modifying Downloads section where it was impossible to change sub folders
• [FIX] Allow uploads for cats is fixed along with the relative path
• [FIX] Errors in edit Download and Category using IE fixed.
• [FIX] Errors with the uploaded files opening to a blank page when downloaded.
• [FIX] Search feature fixed and working 100%
• [FIX] Removed the collapsible feature which was not working.
• [UPDATED] Downloads ACP has been altered to make it easier to use
• [UPGRADE] Added in a new tab feature which can be used in place of the stock view of the downloads. (Thanks to Snype)
• [UPGRADE] Tab Color controls has been added so you can alter them to any color structure you want.
• [UPGRADE] Minimum Post Controls feature added to help stop people from just coming to your site and downloading.
• [UPGRADE] Thumbnail controls added so you can change the size of your thumbnails through out the module.
• [UPGRADE] Featured scrolling listing found under the Overview controls and a on and off switch for it.
• [UPGRADE] Color category titles added. Works with sub categories also.
• [UPGRADE] Few new blocks added to the module, (Thanks Snype).
• [UPGRADE] Color picker that will provide you with the HEX code to use.
• [UPGRADE] Download list now will show you what you have featured and what you dont have featured using color icons for quick reference.
• [ALTERED] Altered most of the images in the module, will still use images of the theme first before it will use the ones that I created.

There are many other small things as usual, but I figured I get the big points across and try not to bore you with all the little things. There were many errors in the other versions that were unseen for we only seemed to test on Firefox and only tested other things on IE but did not cover the whole module. With that being said, we were able to get info on things not working in IE and over a few weeks were able to go through and repair all of them and make small improvements along with taking in the request and putting them in.  Most of the improvements were made with in the category edit list and the DL listing/modify.

There are a few more stuff and additions that have been talked about for the next release, but those at this moment in time is far off. Since the release of this version, I will be taking some time off from working on it so I can spen a bit more time on my clan and our game server. But being that this version is featured rich, I really don't see the point to rush on the small petty things that will probably be added in the next release.
